I am writing to thank you for your service to the United States and wish you a happy Veterans Day. The magnitude of your selflessness and courage is incomprehensible to me, and though these may be trite words, I sincerely mean what I say. I can think of no experience more inherently laudable and worthy of profound respect than serving in the armed forces. What compounds my gratitude of your service specifically is your modesty in discussing your service. Indeed, I believe you mentioned your service only once or twice in class.…

The values and standards of National Honor Society are the four important pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. A person needs to represent all four pillars to uphold the honor of National Honor Society, just like a table with four legs must balance a table. I have developed through the years to be a strong leader, holding the table of scholarship, leadership, service, and character and I would be so very honored to hold this leadership with National Honor Society. Scholarship is holding myself to a high standard, academically and socially. I display a strong sense of scholarship as I have maintained the Highest Honor Roll each grade of my High School career, Middle School and even Elementary School, I love to learn!…

As a member of Health Occupations Students of America, I competed in dental terminology in the interest of diversifying my knowledge of the medical field and made it to state-level competition. I also joined a rigorous Pharmacy Technician Certification class and interned at CVS, an experience that taught me to work fast and in an organized fashion, be social with colleagues and customers, and teamwork skills such as assisting a customer or answering phone calls for co-workers. These responsibilities taught me to make use of time and be more social. This environment was amazing to me because I had always wanted to understand how a pharmacy is managed. In the end, I passed the state exam to become a certified Pharmacy…

Alongside with my academic success, I also try and serve my community and school in any way possible, something that I can also bring to the University of Georgia. I am in quite a few clubs at Cross Creek such as the National Honor Society and FFA, therefore I seek to indulge in clubs when I am a University of Georgia student. Two clubs that I hope to join are the Golf Club and the Sports Medicine Club. When I graduate from the University of Georgia, I hope to have networked with leaders from across the nation in the field of Sports Medicine so that I can have the brightest future possible. Once I have become successful like so many UGA alumni before me, I will repay the university by opening up chances for the younger students to have similar opportunities that I was…

After researching certain organizations throughout the many roles within the pharmaceutical field, I had never realized all the options as a student that I have. Though I still do not know what I want to do as a pharmacist, I did find a couple professional organizations in which I would fit in well. In fact there is one in particular that I thoroughly enjoyed after researching about which is the pediatric pharmacy association also known as PPAG. Before doing this research I had never heard of such an organization, but I believe it is one that I can serve well in as a member.…

I want to begin this letter by apologizing to the Brandeis administration and faculty whom I may have disappointed by not performing to my fullest potential the past academic year, particularly on the prior semester, and I take full responsibility for the past semester’s performance. Since my first semester at Brandeis, I wanted to partake in as many clubs and beneficial experiences as possible. My schedule was quite hectic but I enjoyed all the clubs and volunteer work I was a part of, however, this took a toll on my first semester grades. As a means to avoid the same predicament I chose to enroll in classes once I returned to Brandeis and not during the fall semester as I would be able to adequately accommodate clubs and other opportunities into my schedule without it having an effect on my academics.…

John’s University is known for its rigor. When the university offered me to be a part of Honors pharmacy program, I accepted it because I wanted to academically challenge myself. In the Science Symposium held in high school, I presented my research on “Chemistry of Pain medicines” to the Advanced Placement Chemistry and Biology students and teachers. I also believe that overall development is very important for a student’s progress. During the fall semester, I was appointed as a Social Media chairperson for Circle K International (community service club) and was the youngest student to be appointed as a pre- professional Liaison for Student College of Clinical Pharmacy.…
