Death, unknown but bound to happen. In“Don’t fear the Reaper” by Blue Oyster Cult , “Dust in the Wind” by Kansas , and“Thanatopsis” By William Bryant all talk about death, with different perspectives. However, One glorifies death., and the other two glorify life.
All three poems do talk about death, but each poem interprets death differently. “Don’t fear the Reaper” is saying thousands of people die every day, it's not so bad come join them.“Dust in The Wind” is saying life goes by in the blink of an eye. “Thanatopsis” is saying live life to the fullest so you won't have any regrets when death occurs.
The poem “Don’t fear the Reaper” seems to glorify death. The poem talks about how 40,000 men and women die each day. The speaker (the reaper)
