The ocean covers a large portion of this earth and it inhabits some of the weirdest and largest ranging size of life forms. Some of these cannot even be compared to the large monstrous occupants in the ocean 244 million years ago. One of those animals was the Thalattoarchon saurophagis, which scaled up to at least 28 feet long and could be compared to a bus. This creature was considered in the group of ichthyosaur which was a group of reptiles that dominated the seas while the dinosaurs were roaming the earth during the Triassic period. The creature was discovered in Nevada.
