2. Using a cellphone while driving or riding a bike is so much worse than simply walking while texting. Injuries are so much more common while riding a bike or even driving a car while on their phones. You can easily lose your balance on the bike and fall off, most likely hurting yourself in some way. In a car, you can very, very easily become distracted and not aware of the road around you. As a matter of fact, around 330,000 injuries occur from texting and driving this year. I think that seat belts and smoking should not be fined if you aren’t following the obvious “rule” or right way to do it. (Not wearing your seatbelt, or smoking). It is kind of similar to the walking while texting, it’s just common sense not to do it, but if you do, it’s only going to hurt you and put you in danger, not anyone else. These things can’t be stopped, as people could be addicted to smoking or just don’t care about seat
