Loosing spring break or thanksgiving break due to an ice condition would be very drastic. Many college students would be very upset because those are the only free breaks we get to enjoy with our family and friends to get distracted from our schoolwork. Having ice in Dallas Texas is neither fun nor safe. However it is Mother Nature who decides to be cold, hot, raining, or thunder. Texas is very crazy in fact very bipolar. One day it can be cold and the next day it can be very hot, there is no telling. However that does not mean that due to an ice day in Texas our vacations should get canceled. I understand that school is canceled, but it does not mean our vacations should pay for it. Our classes should be postponed or they should also be made
