Any extracurricular activities were socializing events that gave students the opportunity to meet people associated with commonalities similar to them. Texas Lutheran College offered its students a variety of clubs including music and drama, etc. During the 1930’s the most notable club their choir received recognition for their excellent music abilities of their members. The choir went on annual tours usually around Easter in the state of Texas. They stop at places of interest signing religious songs, hymns, and psalms to audiences. The dramatic club had been another club of notable importance. This club’s sole purpose had been to present popular plays to their audiences.
