I am a resident at TWU. I was delivering donations to the TWU Food Pantry in Old Main and it was pouring rain. I thought that the gray/black paint on the curb means all parking permits are allowed. As you may know, many of the students at Bloomsburg University commute and one area where students are permitted to park is the Geisinger Hospital parking lot area. Many students have complained about the lack of lightning. Being a solar street light construction company we would like to propose to have additional lights installed within the lots and the areas going down to the parking lot. We also propose installing lighting in the blue parking lot on upper campus. This lot is used by students that keep their car at the university while staying in campus dormitories.…
I believe their was adequate ADA parking, however we needed more ADA decals verifying that placards and registration was checked. In addition toll booths did miss verifying some patrons placards & registration and the patron didn't receive a decal. Numerous times working in Lot 7 & 8 campgrounds I noticed the patrons didn't have the decal and asked them if anyone verified their information and they stated no and explained why it needed to be verified and the patrons were more than happy to let me verify their information and had to go grab decals to give to the patron. I recommend for toll booths that there should be separate ADA only lanes that specialize in verifying the patrons…
If you would have asked a resident in Grant’s Valley three years ago about 33rd street, they would have said that it’s a calm trail with a wonderful view of the river, old houses, and trees, where locals do their shopping, hiking, or get their morning coffee. However, this is no longer the case, the old houses have been converted into expensive businesses that attract tourists. The calm environment is now an issue for the locals because the tourists cause traffic and take residential parking spaces when trying to get to 33rd Street. Solve all the residential complaints caused by 33rd Street businesses, changes must be executed by city council to save the precious neighborhood.…

Since I have been in Lubbock I have never gotten the opportunity to go to the Texas Tech Museum. Upon going to the museum I did not know what to expect. When I went recently, for the first time, went to the Texas Tech Museum I noticed that the museum had numerous of things in it such as dinosaurs, visuals for the Native Americans, Chinese artifacts, paintings and etc. Even though they had a lot to offer I just paid close attention to the paintings. The route 99 — Commercial-Broadway / UBC (B-Line) is one of the most widely used bus routes in Vancouver. During peak operating hours, the bus is filled to capacity and the bus is very crowded. With this in mind, the “99” is a great place to make observations regarding; how people interact with one another in close quarters on their daily commute. I plan to make my observations on a weekday during the evening ‘peak hours’, so I am able to observe a large number of people on the bus, and to obtain a large number of observations. The complexity of urban environments is something that I have become familiar with through my time spent working, volunteering and studying in Dorchester, MA – a financially diverse urban borough of greater Boston. Attending UMass Boston while living at home did not provide me enough opportunity to experience the city living. I always drove to campus since public transportation was not feasible. But volunteering at MGH in Downtown Boston and at Codman Square Health Center in Dorchester has prepared me for city challenges like travelling in a city using the crowded local subway and buses while being courteous to fellow passengers, and meeting the time schedules.
