This degree is really close to my heart, because of its purpose in the future. The purpose it holds is a Youth Empowerment Center for children of all ages. I have a passion and an urge to reach out to young people and be in their corner when all odds seem against them. This passion has come from countless times of volunteering my time with young children in the community. This youth center will cover the basis of college readiness, help students apply for college, get scholarships, hold student empowerment conferences and also have a recreation center for sports events and standard functions. There are many youth empowerment centers around the globe, but my empowerment center will be like no other. I want this center to be a blessing to those who truly need a push to keep on believing in their dreams. I am blessed and fortunate enough, to have someone in my corner to keep me on the right path. I have been taught that excuses will only produce a failure and that you work to earn your keep. I am the right candidate for receiving this scholarship, because I am willing to put in the work that it take to make my goals and dreams a reality. Thank You, Dr. Muehsam for allowing students such as myself, to describe a world through the lens of a dedicated soul that wants to make society a better place to live for everyone. So again, I thank
