Greek mythology is about the greek gods and the ancient myths that happened long ago, Tethys was a Titan and was the daughter of Uranus and Gaea. She was known as the goddess of the ocean. She married her own brother and gave birth to the river gods, known as the Nile and Alpheus. Tethys was the mother of many and because of that she was not worshipped seriously. “According to a myth, Hera did not appreciate that Arcas and Callisto were turned into constellations by being turned into Ursa Minor and Ursa Major” (Karas 1). So Hera went to Tethys and asked for some help and Tethys. Tethys banned them from being being able to come to earth or passed the horizon so they were forever doomed to circle the sky (Astma 1). “Tethys was involved in something
