Tesla Incorporated: Out of this World Designs Tesla Incorporated is a unique company. Initially called Tesla Motors, this design company was founded to equalize the playing field for electric cars. “In 2003, a group of engineers created a car enterprise company which would become Tesla Incorporated” (“Tesla.” 1). At first, the company strived to make a name for itself solely in the car industry. But after releasing so many models of green and energy efficient vehicles, the engineers discovered that technology could be expanded to cover more than just cars. Today Tesla Incorporated’s expertise includes electric powered cars, solar commercial, and solar home utilities. The first model vehicle came to be known as the Roadster. This …show more content…
This model is currently in production phase. In this era of cost and fuel efficiency, this vehicle could quickly rise to the top. “Model 3 is a smaller, simpler, more affordable electric car. Although it is our newest vehicle, Model 3 is not “Version 3” or the most advanced Tesla. Like Model S, it is designed to be the safest car in its class” (“Tesla.” 1). With its compact size, the Model 3 could be useful in USA and abroad such as in Europe. It is said Tesla is producing left handed vehicles as well as right handed vehicles. It stands 230 feet (70 meters) tall and is designed to launch payloads of up to 57 metric tons (that's 119,000 lbs.) — the equivalent of a Boeing 737 jetliner — so a single Tesla Roadster should be a cakewalk for the monster rocket. The rocket is capable of carrying twice the payload of the massive Delta IV Heavy rocket built by the United Launch Alliance, and will be the most powerful American rocket since NASA's famed Saturn V moon rocket.
