Tesla Motors; currently owned by Elon Musk, revolutionized the automotive industry by using an induction motor, giving a competitive edge to other cars that run on combustion. Tesla´s motor and battery help us today in the present to get to places faster due to the powerful motor and electric battery. Tesla’s battery and motor is unique from other automobiles; both the motor and battery are found in the bottom-front of the automobile. Because, the motor and battery are found on the bottom-front of the car; Tesla’s platform is in a shape of a skateboard. On “tesla.com”, I found out for that reason the motor and battery are there is to provide more safeness if an accident ever occurs. As, I mentioned before of Tesla’s powerful battery, “auto.howstuffworks. com”, explained that you do not have to add gas to any Tesla automobile because the car runs by energy, so the battery is charged electronically. There’s about more than 2,600 stations in the U. S to charge your Tesla vehicle, and Tesla made an app to check how much charge your automobile has or when it’s needed to charge. As stated on “tech.co”, Tesla cars are pollution free. Batteries from automobiles that run with gas are made up of a variety of stuff but how Tesla’s company tried to keep the battery as simple as they can, they used an electric battery. The by using a lithium battery is that it wastes the battery slow, so you have more time driving than charging your car. You can charge your car up to an hour to get 60 kilowatts; 200 mile drive. And Tesla gives you battery pack options you can choose from, they have a standard pack that will give you 60 kilowatts for an hour charge or more powerful pack will give you 85 kilowatts per an hour
