It was identified in South Korea that people spent a lot of their time travelling. This idea was brought up by Tesco, where people could easily go supermarket shopping from the subway.

This award winning campaign requires people to buy groceries virtually in the subway through a virtual wall. All you need to do is scan the QR codes of products on your smartphones and add them to your virtual carts. After making the payment, the items would get delivered to your home straight away, thus helping people avoid the trouble of going to the market themselves.

This helped to increase online sale by 130% and also increased the number of registered users by 76%.

Absolut Vodka

‘The Absolut Bottle’ is still the longest uninterrupted ad campaign ever, and it comprises of over 1500 separate advertisements. Absolut converted it’s non existent brand name to the be the best ad campaign ever, which is still being used.

Absolut created a different path for itself, by telling its story in a different way. It differentiated its product better than any other. Absolut had only 2.5% of the vodka market during the beginning of the campaign; and according tod. drew design, by the end of the campaign, it was importing half of the total vodka in the US! All Absolut achieved was because of the interesting marketing approach it applied for it’s product.

Marlboro

Marlboro created the lifestyle of a man around its product. The Marlboro Man ads showed what lifestyle a Marlboro man lives, showing freedom, manliness and being on the open range. The ads captured the dream lifestyle each an would want to escape to someday.
