The Belgian Tervuren is always happy to see his owner. He's a muscular dog and he can be a bit overly protective or aggressive. The Tervuren is an elegant looking breed with plenty of royal features. It's easy to distinguish between the male and female herder.
He's solid, intelligent and no less courageous. If that's not enough, he's devoted and has show dog potential starting with his or her proud pose. The way the Belgian Tervuren hold his head shows great character. In fact, there are many wonderful qualities about the Tervuren anyone would appreciate.

Temperament
The Belgian Tervuren has a drive and work disposition that doesn't quit. His demeanor is a real delight, however, they can be challenging to be around when they are not active. You've got to be creative when it comes to entertaining the Terv.

They become master achievers and champion show dogs. Some work with the men and women in blue or military uniforms, helping to search and rescue victims. Others take pride in their work as a top herder.
Nutrition
The Tervuren can eat a number of foods you prepare for him. If you're not that fancy, then buying the leading brand of nutritious bites should meet with the canine's approval. You may want to check with the veterinarian, breeder or previous owner the foods he likes before purchasing a pallet of a particular brand.

Whatever brand you choose or meal plan, feedings are dependent on age and allergies. If your dog is prone to gain weight, limit portions and treats accordingly. Giving him treats while training is essential, however, they do add calories. Clean, sparkling water is as important to his health as the food he eats.

Grooming
The Belgian Tervuren has two coats, a protective layer or undercoat, and a double course outer coating. When it comes to grooming, this breed is easy to please. Just do a thorough combing or brushing twice per
