Terry's Revealed-Personal Narrative

He saw her at lunch.

Leaned up against a tree, just staring. That's all she seemed to do.

Terry spotted her too. Terry was apart of the same friend group as Chris and he could be an asshole at times.

" Hey look at that loner," Terry snickered.

Most of the guys snickered too or even threw in some of their own comments. Some laughed out of nervousness, you could never knew when Terry could turn on you. Chris didn't laugh. Most of the times he didn't even laugh at Terry's jokes and if he was being perfectly honest he didn't even like Terry, he was a bogan that put a bad name on their group.

When I first arrived at the scene I noticed that the gun was in Mr. Peacock’s hand, and a gun was missing from the wall. I also noticed the carpet that was rolled up nicely. He was lying next to the carpet, wearing an apron, with blood pooling from his head, and his glasses were sitting there unbroken. The door was only able to be locked from the inside, and the house wasn’t vandalized at all.…

Personal Narrative Assessment Notes The narrative “Out in the Open” would benefit from stronger, more concise language. It's vital to be careful with modifying words. Weak modifiers such as, basically, sort of, and mostly, detract from the strength of all genres of writing. Repetition reviled itself multiple times towards the end of the narrative. The adjective “happy” was overused (three times in 50 words).…

Shaking The Captain’s Hand It was the middle of June, and I had just taken my CDA (Child Development Associates) exam. This exam was so important to me because it meant moving up to a higher position on my job as childcare professional. I had to work the next day, so I did not have time to even think about the test results. I was called to the office to speak with my childcare trainer. I thought she had observed me doing something wrong in the classroom, because that is usually the case when you are called to the training office.…
