Terry Fox is a hallmark for hope
Terry Fox is the shining image of a leader, as a young man he was a very diverse athlete and basketball player. Unfortunately, a malignant tumor started to form in Terry’s right leg bone and it was aptly amputated. As a result Terry wouldn’t be able to participate in track or basketball, he dreamed of running. Additionally, the bone cancer had to be the most painful factor during rehabilitation for our young athlete. Even so, with much dreams fueled by willpower, Terry strived for his best during the marathon of hope. A lot of pain and self-sacrifice was experienced in his odyssey, an immense number of cancer research grants have been awarded for his efforts.
