He was born in September 2, 1948 at Shreveport in Louisiana as a second born of their three children. His dream of growing into a proffessional footballer started at Woodland high school where he was schooling. In 1974, Bradshaw helped the team to win the first Super Bowl champions by beating Minnesota Vikings. He did the same in the following year by defeating Dallas Cowboys. In 1976, he came back from wrist injury and helped his side to beat Baltimore colts and then Dallas Cowboys in the following year. During a game with New york jets, he suffered a serious injury that caused him to retire and later beacame a television analyst.
