Not all Muslims are linked with violent ideologies and in fact, many preach the Islamic religion as a faith of nonviolence. To many Islamic people, ISIS and other extremists are seen as “crime against humanity,” and many Muslims apologize and condemn for their inhumane and wrongful actions. Even people of the Islamic religion are negatively impacted by the Islamic extremism group as well. A vast majority of Muslims are moderate people who suffer from the fear of terrorism just like any other individual would. For example, Islamic extremists target and kill some of the innocent Muslim population. These Islamist terrorists do not just target the West and other denominations, but they target anyone who disagrees with their extremist beliefs, which includes the vast majority of Muslims.
