Five years ago, I was strolling down the moisturizers’ aisle at CVS when I spotted Aveeno Daily Moisturizer. The simple yet classy bottle captured by attention; next to all the flashy colored moisturizing bottles Aveeno’s stood out. The soft beige bottle and the earthy green colored cap gave out a relieving and stress feel vibe. When I took the bottle for more details about its ingredients, I saw that it was an all natural lotion, infused with colloidal oatmeal and other active naturals and the best part was it was “clinically” proven to relieve dry skin. The product has unique features; a light texture formula, a fresh feel yet not strongly scented, and most importantly, it is quickly absorbed by the skin, leaving it smooth, hydrated, and …show more content…

For those who know Anniston, this partnership would not surprise them. The company did a swell of job by choosing Jen to represent them; known for holding a stand against plastic surgeries, encouragement for natural beauty, love for the outdoors and her focus on healthy living .All traits promoted by Aveeno. Aniston has done till today more than eight TV commercials for Aveeno products and five just for the daily moisturizing lotion. It is interesting to note that all the TV ads have the same story telling strategy; the color scheme is one in all the advertisement; she is always in beige and different shades of green, the setting is always outdoor whether in a field, on the street or on her balcony, and the weather is always sunny with enough light shed on her glowing skin. Most importantly, the tone is cohesive with the brand’s message; informative, soothing and reassuring. Aniston’ tone is uplifting, radiant and promising. Some of the words used in advertisement “ science”, “ promise” “ everyday”, “ living proof”, so the company could highlight the fact that they use “ sources” from nature, uniquely formulated and scientifically proven to deliver skin
