The Terracotta Warriors were created in --- B.C.E. by the first emperor in China, Qin Shi Huang after he united all the provinces in China. Even though he was young and his reign was short, he still accomplished a lot, he was a was also known for being very ruthless. In the last few years of his reign he became a little obsessed with beating death, and he began to search for some kind of mixture or substance to make him immortal (as you can see, he failed). However, before he died, he ordered for a large army to be made of clay, and so the terracotta warriors were made.
