Terracotta Warriors Exhibit

On Tuesday, October 11 my mom and I went to the The Field Museum in downtown Chicago. We went to various exhibits, in addition to the Terracotta Warriors exhibit, we also saw many others including the Cyrus Tang Hall of China and we watched the movie The Mysteries of China. These exhibits were both interesting and very helpful to help get a full understanding of Chinese history.

What did you learn?
Since I had already seen the terracotta warriors before I was not as interested in them but i was more interested in the tomb the tomb where Qin shi Huang di is supposed to be buried this interested me more because we did not talk about it that much in class and it just intrigues me that so many cool and very valuable things that could be down …show more content…
These three exhibits very well fit into the class material we have been talking about for example in the terracotta warriors exhibit the class had recently been talking about the first emperor Qin Shi Huang who had the warrior's built for himself this also relates to the class conversation why he had them built this is because Qin shi Huang di wanted to have a full army servants and kingdom for him in the afterlife the second exhibit the Cyrus Tang Hall of China also related to class material because throughout the exhibit it showed different types of clothing and weapon that were used in the time period this relates to the class because we talked about his empire and also a lot of the different technology that was used throughout the time period also during the movie it really helped me understand the material even more in class because it was a really good summary aswell and it was overall just a good
