In Chapter 12 entitled Stress, Adjustment, and Health Differences was a very interesting read and it makes you think what is really going on in the world today. While I was reading the longitudinal research project of Lewis Terman (Terman’s “Termites”). My thoughts of it was pretty surprised, the things that were in it was very surprising. One part in particular was with cheerfulness as one of the many personality dimensions from Terman’s scales. He came up with a certain amount of scales to predict longevity and cause of death throughout their lives. With cheerfulness, I was amazed by what he predict, when people are cheerful kids they grow up to be adults who died somewhat sooner. Even though, to me, I really do not believe that whether people
