I very was excited for this trip as I would be gone from home for two weeks and would visit 3 states that I had never been to and florida. The first city/state I visited was Atlanta, Georgia this was my first time coming to Georgia. I stayed in Atlanta, Georgia for 3 days. The day after we arrived in Georgia we went to the Atlanta, Georgia zoo and saw there many species of animals. There were so many animals there that it would take to long to label them but here are some of the animals I saw. I saw pandas, komodo dragons, gorillas, giraffes, zebras, tigers, primates, sunbears, and many more species of animals. The next day I went to the Georgia aquarium which is supposedly one of the biggest and best aquariums in the world. At the aquarium I watched a dolphin show,

The next day in Asheville we went to the Biltmore Estates, a giant mansion with an underground pool, private lake/pond, botanical garden, and many fancy rooms. After that we went to there house for a while then visited my dad's old college and drove to Jacksonville, Florida. A trip to the zoo is always enlightening as no matter how long ago it was we last visited we can always forget something about the animals that live this world with us. Going to the zoo can remind us that we are creatures just like these animals, but also remind us that we are so much more than just animals. Our lives on the surface seem so much more complex than the primates around us, however if we could take the time to observe the lives and the emotions of the animals around us then maybe we can learn who they are, and maybe who we are. The primate that I picked was a mongooses lemur, native to Madagascar.…

They enjoyed the leisurely meal to the sound of honey bees buzzing around an assortment of flowers in full bloom lining the edges of the garden. Indeed, the fragrance of the rhododendrons, chrysanthemums, foxgloves, roses, and lilies of the valley intermingled to create a unique heavenly perfume. In the past, Surina’s kinetic pace never allowed her enough time for breakfast other than a hasty granola bar before frantically rushing off to the hospital. In contrast, today she luxuriated in a proper full English breakfast.…

I was smiling the whole time as the skin around my neck was being ripped off. Well I wasn’t actually smiling and as brutal as I made it sound, it wasn’t as horrific an event now that I look back on it. The incident occurred while I was on Spring Break during my freshman year in high school. My family and I were vacationing in Gatlinburg, Tennessee;which if I might add we’ve been there about eight times since I was seven years old. I remember clearly that day down to the exact temperature.…
