Teresa Giudice may be in jail, but she still takes time to invite her friends to a viewing party of her reality show, “Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In.” According to Radar Online, October 13, 2015 the Bravo channel is the very popular among the female inmates so Teresa had a party to share with them her return on TV, even if it was from jail. A source told Radar Online, Teresa had a great time all but an emotional one as she watched her family coping without her. There were times when she would laugh, and times when she would cry. She was proud of her family and the way they’ve coped without her but she was particularly proud of her oldest daughter Gia. Even Joe’s involvement with the girls impressed Teresa. The source said, “The other inmates were clapping throughout the entire episode and Teresa really got a lot of support from the group. These women have become confidantes and sisters to Teresa, and without this sisterhood, she wouldn’t be able to get through the day.”
That wasn’t the only show featuring the Giudice family because immediately following Andy Cohen came on with “Watch What Happens Live” with his guests Joe Giudice and Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga. Andy asked questions sent in by viewers. One person asked Joe Gorga whether he blamed his brother-in-law for Teresa being in jail. Joe Gorga said that he did blame Joe, because who else was there. However, Joe Giudice said didn’t know why his brother-in-law would blame him, and then he blamed his brother-in-law for coming on the show and “talking all the crap that he talked.”
Some other viewers wondered if they were going to start saving money and move into a smaller house. Joe answered that moving was not in the plans right now, but they have gotten rid of a lot of their things to pay on their legal fees and fines. In a final thought, Andy told Joe Giudice that Teresa said she would be watching the show tonight from jail. He wondered if Joe had a message for her. He said that he loved her. Do you think the inmates really like Teresa or is she like bragging that even though she is in jail, she can still make tons of money and do TV

There are numerous of stories to why female inmates end up in prison serving for a short or long sentence. Every person that ends up incarcerated it is for their own fault and no one else. Piper Kerman, the author of the book, Orange is the New Black, had stories similar and different to the other female offenders. Her incarceration is something to be speechless for, because of the type of criminal offense she committed, ignoring the education she had already achieved, and because of the socioeconomic status she had. On September 23rd, 2011, Teresa Lewis, a citizen of Danville, Virginia, was pronounced dead by lethal-injection at approximately 9:13 p.m. (Crawford 74). Being that 46 executions took place in 2010, Teresa Lewis’s case would seem indifferentiable to the others; however, evaluations of Lewis’s mental state incited controversy based on the morality of her case (“The Death Penalty…”). The controversy erupted after Lewis’s defense lawyer filed a position for clemency briefly after disclosing that she had an I.Q. of 72, providing the justification that Lewis “did not possess the intelligence to have planned for the killings” (“US woman Teresa…”). Much to the dismay of her defense lawyers, family, and advocates, Teresa Lewis still underwent lethal injection for conspiring to murder her husband and stepson.…

Portraying black women as Jezebel’s by nature is a long -lasting stereotype. The jezebel stereotype is one that has been used to put down African American women since the beginning of slavery. Throughout history the white women were seen as pure, hardworking and respectable, while black women were always seen as promiscuous, seductive and tempting men. Maria Miller Stewart who was a servant, teacher, abolitionist and women's rights activist shows through her literary work "Religion and the Pure Principles of Molarity, the Sure Foundation on which we Must Build." that black women show the same qualities as any other race of women and that they don't deserve the title of Jezebel. Also there will be images of how African American women…
