I like how you started your post with the definition of a teratogen. Great point about organic foods too. Organic and healthy foods are costly. When I go to the grocery store, a bag of grapes is two dollars per pound. Organic foods are more expensive. The average person cannot afford a cart of healthy food when feeding more than themselves. Not one person can be completely hundred percent safe from teratogens. A person can avoid drugs, but is that same person going to send away their beloved pet for nine months or longer to lower their teratogen risk? The pet will remember that and will never be the same.
