In my opinion, I am not really surprised by how Tennyson reacted when he found out about Brewster taking away his pain from lacrosse. In the book, Tennyson seems to be easily angered and offended at times. So, I see his reaction reasonably, because he loves playing lacrosse, and wants to put all his heart into the game when he plays. I fully agree with Tennyson’s reaction. I would feel the same way as he did, cheated.

I think Tennyson does have a right to be upset. If someone take all my hard work and pain for doing something, I would feel cheated and useless, since I would have taken nothing. Little Nimrod is the killer because of the events that took place before the incident occurred. The first piece of evidence pointing to Little Nimrod being the killer are the dead birds lying next to the skid marks on the edge of the cliff. This is important because the birds are right next to wear C.C. Robin had been sitting before he fell. The birds seem to have been shot by a poacher, one of the things little Nimrod is. In a school in Detroit a teacher by the name of Tiffani Eaton tried to stop a fight between two students by hitting both of them with a broom. Because of her actions the school fired her, the students were suspended. In my opinion her punishment was unjustified, although I can understand the other side of the coin. She did cause the students physically and mentally harm. As well as brook the schools policy by not getting security and hitting a student.…

Corey Turner remembers collecting participation trophies from the YMCA soccer program he was involved in as a young athlete. These trophies are now sitting in a dusty box somewhere in his parent's basement. This leads him to question whether or not young athletes should receive trophies for just showing up. Corey Turner is not alone, people across the nation have debated this issue for as long as youth sports have been in existence. I believe that kids should not get trophies for participating because kids should learn life lessons from both wins and losses and participation trophies do more harm than good.…

The Supreme Court of Georgia subsequently set aside Defendant’s death sentences on the armed robbery counts, on the basis, that defendants are rarely subject to capital punishment for that crime. The Court upheld defendant’s death sentences with respect to the murder convictions. In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision in the Furman case, which held a death penalty statute to be unconstitutional, because it resulted in death being imposed in an “arbitrary and capricious” manner, the Georgia legislature revised its death penalty statute so that death could only be imposed when the jury had found the presence of specific aggravating factors. This effectively narrowed the class of murderers subject to capital punishment. The new statute created…

In chapter 31 of “Bruiser,” Tennyson finds out that Brewster has been helping him at his games. I, personally, was not expecting Tennyson to be that upset with Brewster. At the time, I imagined that Tennyson would just say thank you, but that he didn’t have to do that. I felt that Tennyson was over exaggerating. Tennyson does have the right to be upset with Brewster though.…

In the articles “Three Cheers for the Nanny State,” “Ban the Ban!,” and “Soda’s a Problem but…”, all three authors present their arguments with facts, opinions, and counterclaims. However, one article presents itself better than the rest. I believe that the article “Soda’s a Problem, but...” was the most convincing article. Sarah Conly- the author who wrote “Three Cheers for the Nanny State”- argues that the soda restriction is a good idea because people would be stopped from making foolish decisions that they’ll pretty definitely regret.…
