Tennis Player Research Paper

Most people believe tennis player were introverted/quiet people but some of the matches I went to involved some of the players being very vocal. One match in particular involves a player who would scream every time he hit a bad shot and he would always refer to himself in the third person. He would also argue with his coach every time that he went to talk to him. Another match that I went to involved a player who always screamed at himself also. He would throw his hat down when he made bad shots and when he was really angry he wouldn't stop to drink water when they were changing sides.
On the contrary some players were very quiet when they play. The person that was plying the guy that talked in third person never made a sound except when calling the score. Unlike his opponent he showed very little emotion and was very quiet. The opponent of the guy that would throw his hat down was also the opposite, he was quiet and didn't shout out. Some of the football or hockey or baseball games that I have been to can be deafeningly loud but a tennis match never gets that loud. At high school or lower level matches there is only some light clapping. However at the college level and pro level matches there is lots of clapping, shouting and screaming. Lastly I noticed that almost no one is dressed formally when attending tennis matches. At professional matches most people are dressed up, but at any other level the crowd is usually dressed up in their casual

Serena is known as a baseline player, or someone who stays very far back in the court, and she is always in control of her intense games. Her powerful serves can fly across the court at speeds of up to 128 miles per hour. Though she differs in delivery speed, Venus is a baseline player as well but contrasting to her sister, she holds the record for the fastest serve ever delivered by a woman, at a shocking 130 miles per hour (Advarsity Sports). The expert player is comfortable all around the court, unlike her sibling who is mainly comfortable on the baseline. Another difference between the two is that Venus is more comfortable playing on grass courts while Serena says she likes to play on any terrain, such as grass, carpet, hard, and clay…

Some players thrive off of crowds, some don’t, it all depends on the game and the profession. Golfers will not ever thrive off of crowds because, they are not used to their galleries cheering while they play. I still believe Gonzales can inspire anyone who considers his or her ethnicity important, regardless of what others may refute. Gonzales was an excellent tennis player.…

A winner shot simply is a shot where your opponent cannot reach or get to. Tennis is action packed with every shot meaning something and isn’t a game where you can go back and mess with it like you can in photography. Tennis and photography are big into contradicting each other. Photography takes time and allows you to relax and doesn’t give you much disappointment in a bad photo.
