Touchstone picture’s 1999 film Ten Things I Hate About You is an adaptation of the eminent play write William Shakespeare’s 16th century comedy The Taming of the Shrew. The film and the play share similar plots, this is achieved through the construction of the characters, settings and themes. The plots follow a similar idea where, Bianca will be allowed to become romantically entangled when Katerina does, through this key concept the cast encounters many issues and adventures.
