Ten Steps to Understanding Who You Really Are…

1. When you hear your name called, do you normally feel good that someone is calling you or are you concerned, and think to yourself, “What do they want now?”

2. What do most people say about your appearance? Is it, you always look so nice, or you look nice today.
3. Who do you think you most resemble? Who do some people say you remind them of? Who do you want to be associated with, and why?

4. What type of books do you read, if any? What type of books would not interest you?

5. If you could choose anyone to spend one day with, who would it be, and what are three questions you would ask that person before the day ended?

Remember be true to yourself. But think about it, what is the very best thing you can say about yourself.
No one knows you like you know yourself. I remember when I was in high school, I was the quiet, shy teenager, which did not draw much attention.
When the yearbooks came out in senior year, I turned to the page and looked at the titles of future stars, most popular and most likely to succeed. I thought to myself only, the one most likely to succeed should have been me. But, no one thought that but me.
Now, when I ask why I was never even considered, it made sense. Who do you ask? Did you think this to yourself? I was invisible to others. They did not really know much about me. No one ever asked to see my grades, or what my plans were in life. So, what happened? I did not ring my own bell. Now, that does not mean that I have to be conceited. I just should have shown more confidence. When you believe that you are worthy, you must show why before you can begin to receive.

Look at where you are in life. How did you get there? School, Work. Spell this out.

2. What did it take for you to have the success that you have already achieved? Was it hard work, beliefs?

3. Look into yourself, did you get your job, home, money property, etc., or was it given to you by other people? Rewrite 4. How is your self-worth defined, is it defined by temporary conditions, such as beauty and talent?
