The Life Story of the Ten Dollar Bill
It’s a windy spring day and you have decided to buy an ice cream cone. As the employee at the ice cream cart scoops your ice cream, you search through your purse to find money that will pay for your tasty treat. The smallest bill you have is a ten dollar bill. As you pull it out of your purse, the wind takes the money out of your hand. You chase it and finally get close enough to stomp your foot on top to stop the wild chase. As you pull it closer to you, you notice the date printed at the bottom. You stop and think before walking back to retrieve your snack, about how many people have bought things with this bill before it came to you. The ten dollar bill has held the faces of different presidents over the years. You will feel as if you are in a time machine as you read this article.
