Ten Amendments Are Important To The American Bill Of Rights

In the American Bill of Rights, there are ten Amendments. Of those ten Amendments, all are important to the American people in many ways. These are significant to American Citizens as they protect the citizen’s individual rights. The three main or most important Amendments are; 1st Amendment- freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition, 4th Amendment- protects from unreasonable searches and seizures, and 5th Amendment- no punishment without due process of law. The first Amendment gives a citizen freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition.
This gives a person the right to believe and worship in any way they wish. Likewise, it also gives them the right not to believe and worship in a religious way at all. This Amendment gives television stations, radio stations, and newspaper the ability to publish news without the government intervening. With the protection of the first Amendment, the people of American have the right to say what they want. They can openly voice their opinions or their feelings. Another part of the first Amendment is the freedom of assembly. This simply allows groups of people to come together, publicly or privately, with a mutual goal or purpose in mind. This Amendment makes it so that law enforcement have to have a good reason in order to search your belongings or your residence. Police cannot search you or your possessions without having a good reason to do so. This also means that a law enforcement officers cannot take your belongings and hold them unless they have probably cause to do so.
