Temporary Badges

Temporary badges are issued to third parties, contractors, as well as employees. A periodic review of temporary badges or temporary badge logs does not occur. A temporary badge could be issued and not returned allowing access to BMV resources and customer data, beyond authorization, to go undetected.

Temporary badge issuance should be tracked and reviewed to ensure only authorized individuals have access to customer data and BMV resources for the necessary amount of time.
