Since I was from Michigan everyone wanted to know my opinion regarding the state of the University of Michigan program. I informed them I was a former player and had inside knowledge of the situation, for the nah sayers I let social media validate my credibility. Through
Facebook and the internet I provide data to back my claim, many of the department immediately softened up and begin to speak to me on regular bases. It also helped that I called a department meeting to inform them of why I was here and what my purpose was.
CONCLUSION
By accessing my situation in visiting the plant I was able to go to a remote plant and help improve a situation and add value to the company and also myself. Without the happy medium of football I may not have had the success I had in getting the corporation of the workers and provide a continuous improvement environment. I was never fully able to get on the same page with the supervisor but I was extended an offer to return to complete my task on a permanent bases. The supervisor and I still don’t see eye to eye but I have created an environment along with my increased knowledge of the process that I can fully operate with him as an ally or
