Improved Essays
The ideal college for me to attend would be Temple University’s School of Media and Communication, located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. This is an ideal college for me, because after college, I hope to pursue a career in Sports Broadcasting, hopefully with a team in the Philadelphia area. Going to Temple is important to me because my siblings and father both attended Temple University. Temple is my preferred school at the moment, because I’m currently there about twice a week attending sporting events. Temple’s atmosphere and school spirit has grown on me over the years. The city of Philadelphia is part of my family, and the person I am today. Temple is an even bigger part of this category, and I love every moment I get to spend on their beautiful city campus.
While some people view Temple as a dangerous environment, I think that a city setting is just what I need as I experience college. Temple provides the feeling of

Temple can provide me with not only career opportunities, but also opportunities to continue my extracurricular activities. One activity I plan to continue is band. Being a part of the Temple University Diamond Band would be an honor, and is something I have had a desire to do since 6th grade, when I became dedicated to playing the trumpet. Being in the band will provide me an opportunity to receive more scholarship money, and will allow me to continue playing the trumpet for four more years. Another activity I’m interested in continuing in college is my desire to compete at Model United Nations, and join the team when I’m in college. Model United Nations has provided me with many diverse friendships, and is a help to my public speaking skills. Being in this club has really expanded my horizon, and I believe that it will and has made me a better voice for
