On saturday we went to Lincoln Financial Field for the Temple homecoming game against Tulane. Temple was (4-0) and Tulane was (2-2). We’ve gone for the past three years. We also got up at 6:00, then left at 6:30 to go pick up Jace and Emma. The ride there was boring as usual. When we got there, we found out that we couldn't park where we usually do, because the workers created a pass for the parking lot, so it doesn’t get as packed. We had to park in the parking lot on the other side of the street, where Jonathan had then seen the people we tailgate with, so we payed to park and pulled in near them. We then walked over to the tents where they give us free stuff, since it’s homecoming. While we were over there, we watched the fly in. The fly

Although René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle, Robert La Salle, is not seen as one of the primary explorers to lay claims in North America due to his many failed expeditions, La Salle is definitely one of the few and major explores who helped France lay eyes on land west of the Mississippi river. When Carrie Nation moved to Kansas in the 1800s, no one ever expected her to be the second coming of the devil. Though Carrie Nation worked in our Civil War and helped our soldiers, what she did after was nobody’s guess. Heinous, Malicious, Blood-Loving, are just a few of the words that epitomize Carrie Nation. Paired with her border line lunatic methods, Carrie Nation has taken the United States as a hostage. In our free market country, Carrie nation has imposed a totalitarian war upon Salon owners and just about anyone else in that vicinity.…

As can be seen, I consider myself a great candidate for the Gamma Tau Delta Honor Society, and not only because of my academic achievements so far, but also because of my dedication to serve others in the community. I would like to end my essay with a quote by Mother Teresa: “We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do,” which to me is very accurate, because many times by just being there for a person, family, or community during a time of need can mean so much more to them, then what we actually think.…

Requiem For The Big East is about a great conference that dominated men’s college basketball for a long time of the past 35 years, held the highest conference tournament at New York’s Madison Square Garden. It’s too satisfying in the long run, continually returning to the final Syracuse/Georgetown conference matchup in the semifinal of the 2013 Big East tournament. Conferences like the Pac-12, the Big Ten, and ACC that have had relatively equal success in football and basketball are still standing. And it’s sad that the Big East, the main event for the northeast basketball schools that often didn’t have the best campuses of state universities elsewhere in the country, was forced to participate in an athletic revenue…
