To have a better of understanding of what autism is, Temple Grandin was able to show the hardship she went through. At the end, she was successful despite the mental condition. She was amazing, with a supportive mother always along her side, a teacher who believes in her, and made a long-lasting friendship.

I know this scene isn’t that different from people who doesn’t have autism, but another scene was when she was a kid and her mother took her to see a doctor. She would stare at the wallpaper in the room and noticed how the pattern didn’t line up, with work of the graphic art from behind the scene, it showed it lining up in her mind. It feels like she was annoyed by it, like it was something that bothers her, how it didn’t line up exactly the same; perfectionist. These scenes give us an idea how her mind function which relates to how she’s more of a visual learner or pattern learner. Telling the story of how Temple’s mind work is significant to know. We wouldn’t understand what was going without these mini effects in the movies, like why was she staring at the wall, or why did the gate needed fixing? The director and actress deliver these parts of the story well, showing the audience of what she’s interested in or what seem to be bothering her. Another reason this movie should be awarded is because it showed us the main chapter of her life. We know what her daily routine was from the little girl Temple to adult Temple. It was clear that she doesn’t like to be touched by
