That’s where I completely disagree with the quote because in today’s society there exist something called a white lie and it’s supposed to help the other individual instead or hurting them. Telling a white lie isn’t completely hiding behind lies or a personal act of cowardice but instead it actually helps the other person and it help those that are feeling down or in a bad mood. When telling a white lie the intentions are good rather than when telling a lie its intentions are the other way around. For example, if someone were to have a bad day or in a bad mood you wouldn’t essentially say they look horrible or they look like awful that would worsen their day instead or helping them. Instead, you would tell a little white lie and say they look like how they always look. Just from that statement alone, it could brighten up their day and leave that person with a positive mood. White lies are fundamentally supposed to help the others while telling a lie itself is basically helping themselves and not
