The Landlady is another horror story like the Tell tale heart. Though the Landlady does not give off a creepy vibe at the beginning of the story. The Landlady gives more of a sad and lonely feel to the story. It follows a boy named Billy Weaver, who was traveling around and needed a place to stay. He asked a man where the closest place he could stay was. The man told him the Bell and Dragon. Bill went to look for the Bell and Dragon, but came across another place he could stay simply called Bed and Breakfast. He had to decide between the Bell and Dragon or the Bed and Breakfast. He chose the Bed and Breakfast and had relief that someone came to answer the door when he arrived. Though Billy found this very weird that the door opened so quickly. Billy explains it takes at least more than a couple seconds to answer the door. This gives Billy a creepy vibe about The Landlady, but he doesn't mind and accepts that he has a place to stay and was filled with joy. The Landlady is more of an elderly woman, but has something creepy about her. The Landlady is able to pull off a good act of being a normal person for the a little while, but The Landlady is a person who tricks people into staying at the Bed and Breakfast . The Landlady tells Billy to go downstairs and write his name in the entry log. Billy does this, but then looks at the last two entries and realizes it’s been years since a person entered this Bed and Breakfast. He confronts The Landlady and asks her about the two people who were here before him. The Landlady answers that those two guests are actually still here and the reason there has been that many entries is because she is picky with those who enter her Bed and Breakfast. Billy started to Prejudice The Landlady as being a lady who lost her son in a war and that’s why she acts like this. The Landlady then proceeds to try and comfort Billy by giving him tea. Though The Landlady tricks Billy and he drinks a tea that is spiked by
