Not only that it has benefited patients living in the cities, it also has a no arguable impression on those who live in rural communities. Many of these benefit receivers appear to be senior citizens. However, with the lack of technology skills, most of the patients are not able to effectively utilize these advantages. The goal of this proposal is to develop an appropriate package of enabling telemedicine for elderlies who live in rural areas, in this case, the main attack is on the households that owned internets.
It is understandable that it is hard for senior citizens to learn new technologies, not to mention it is extremely difficult to convince unwilling senior technophobic clients to adopt telemedicine tools. The first step to solve this issue is to lead those technophobic clients to accept the use of telemedicine. There has been a lot of successful cases of those who benefit from enabling technologies for medical treatments or consultations. With the use of these new technologies, not only that it provided the ease of communication between doctors and patients at a distance, but it also limited the time spent on traveling.
