Telemedicine is a combination of network technology and medical technology, which generally includes several major parts as: remote diagnosis, expert consultation, information service, online examination and remote communication. Based on computer and network communication, it realizes the transmission, storage, query, comparison, display and sharing of medical data, remote video and audio information.

Interactive remote training includes remote operation view, remote nursing teaching and remote teaching ward round. It supports courseware on demand, and is provided with New, Delete, Upload and Query functions.
Remote video conference supports remote interactive communication among medical experts and the doctors and patients in hospital. It also supports controlling the remote camera, adjusting the viewing angle in real time, and satisfying the bedside requirements of critically ill patients, in which way the patients can receive remote consultation and nursing services from experts in real time on bed.
Remote monitoring targets the critically ill patients. It supports real-time collection and transmission of vital signs data on bedside respirator and monitor, realizing 24-hour uninterrupted and dynamic observation of patient's …show more content…
1) Data security: the correctness of authorized users' access to data is ensured in strict accordance with user level; data transmission and key sensitive data are encrypted; professional backup software is adopted to back-up local data and remote data in accordance with the established backup policy, and fast speed and reliable system recovery is also provided.
2) Application security: remote medical system should be provided with access control functions, which should include user access control, role-based access control, directory security control, and file properties security control; full backup shall be done regularly, and software fix shall be backed up in time and relevant document shall be prepared;
3) Standardization: the system supports the receiving, storage, reproduction and post- processing of standard DICOM3 video files; establishing a remote radiation consultation system entirely based on DICOM3
