The Odyssey is a book based on the Greek, Odysseus of his way home from the Trojan war. The story of Telemachus is also of great importance. Telemachus’ relationship with his father was unknown since he was a child when his father left. Just as he is becoming a man the honor of his father is the unknown being introduced. Throughout the book we see Telemachus grow into a clever and fruitful man, bringing honor to his family. Telemachus is on a mission to find his father and with the help of Athena the two of them outsmart the suitors and the thought of second cunning taking over the land. “Telemachus- what insolence- and we thought his little jaunt would come to grief.
