Heart failure is a major and growing public health problem. Despite advances in the care of patients with heart failure, many patients are readmitted to the hospital due to frequent exacerbation from poor compliance with treatments. Many home care agencies have implemented tele-monitoring systems for heart failure patients. Home-based tele-monitoring is a therapeutic tool used to aid in the reduction of readmissions to hospitals as well as help reduce medical costs overall. Thus improving the tele-monitoring healthcare system and increasing patient satisfaction.
