The background paragraph does adequately inform the reader on how the controversy of how a teen's body image is hurt through the use of social media. This is done through the use of statistics on how teenagers already are self- conscious without social media, and a quote from a teen saying she is inseparable from his or her phone. In addition, it also has 2 pieces of evidence in the background paragraph. In considering the commentary, there is a lacking of it, which doesn't have a thorough explanation.
