When a child is being bullied it could affect them in many different ways. Kids whom encounter this act can experience a negative physical, mental and emotionally state of discomfort. These individuals have fallen into deep states of keeping to themselves. These ways could evolve into their adult years. Bullying can cause to a long life psychological effect that many may require therapy in order to overcome it. As in Michael’s case mentioned, before some victims could experience that thought of taking their own lives just to escape the bullying that they would have been enduring throughout. Research believed it only linger that of a greater issue and not compound of all the mental health and bullying research. Since it is an issue of the aspect of the mind, it can involve serious difficulties that could impact someone’s entire life. If you take the situation of a high school bully and the smallest kid in a regular school setting who doesn’t have much friends to go to and help. They begin to confine in his or her book persecuted for their own superior skills or intellect, most people often by people who fear and envy the “nerd”. This is a known stereotype labeled to use to describe a person that is socially incomplete emerging the kid would rather stay to himself and study rather than interacting themselves in the mixture of people around. The child doesn’t have another individual to reach out a hand, whom will support or even back them when a situation when he encounter violence with his bully. Whenever the bully approaches the individual, he may be on slamming him into the walls of the halls, or maybe, when no one is supervising them, in the locker rooms. The victim would begin to mentally breakdown. Majority of the bullies were males. It stars young adolescent male Alex Libby whom experienced the physical bullying most young boys would encounter when faced by a bully or bullies. There was a certain scene when a group of the students were on the bus, riding on bus on their way to school in the morning. Alex was most targeted before he had looked different from the other students. They would pull on his ears, hit him, and engage in other physical abuse. He would try to defend himself, asking “why are you doing that”, or showing what they were doing was causing him a great deal of hurt, but the kids just kept doing it more. Out of all the kids riding on the bus that morning, not one defended Alex by simply saying “stop”. They all watched and witnessed the abuse. There are two types of bystanders; the one that will go out their way to help during the act of bullying and other that hurts the victim by not saying or doing anything to prevent verbal or physical abuse. The “hurtful bystander” would inflame the bully to begin, encourage the bullying by laughing, cheering or maybe making comments to stimulate more to the situation. Most common, we find that most hurtful bystanders provide an audience for the bully craves to
