Relationships are built on trust, relationships are built on commitment, respect and equality. As Swamy Vivekananda once said “relationships are more important than life, but it is important for those relationships to have life in them”. Nowadays relationships are affected by many things but the main cause of relationship problems is media.
Media mainly affects teenage relationships because teenagers are usually the ones that basically revolve their lives around media. Relationships are affected by media because firstly media is something that most people are involved in and engaged in. It also influences the way we see things because through media we see many pictures that depict certain impossibilities and expectations. They are affected

when someone is in danger or when someone is in need of help, nobody helps the person. Instead of helping the person people just pull out their phones and cameras and they start taking pictures and videos of the person suffering instead of helping them. This is mostly done by teenagers. They think about how their video is going to trend on media, they do not think about the current situation. They don’t realize that if they were to put their cell phones and cameras down they could save a life. Media has become a tool of destruction. Media sends the wrong message out to the youth.
Media has changed the way people look at the world. Media is sending the wrong message to people. Media influences people especially teenagers to do unnecessary things in life e.g. not many teenagers want to be lawyers or accountants anymore because it is considered “boring and hard”. Teenagers want to be a mainstream on things like TV and radio.
Most teenagers are running to the music industries because that’s where all the fame and popularity is nowadays. Musicians/artists mostly sing or rap about how good money and fame is, they rap about drugs and sex. This clearly shows that media is sending the wrong message out to the
