Journaling is a form of reflection and reflection is an important part of life and as the day goes by far too quickly for most, journaling is a great way to reflect on key moments of the day. Reflecting on key moments of the day allows you to reflect on how that moment made you feel and why it made you feel that way. So how can this help with depression or anxiety? Well, it doesn’t instantly cure your anxiety or your depression, however, what journaling does do is help you understand more about yourself. Understanding who you are is a very key part of managing depression, especially in your age group. By understanding who you are, you will come to understand what it is that stresses you out, or causes you unhappiness or gives you anxiety. Knowing these factors and accepting them is the first step to managing depression. Once these factors have been discovered, acknowledged and accepted steps can then be taken to change
