Teen Violence has taken a very big role in our society for years. Teen violence can be caused in many ways. One of the main ones though is from having an unhealthy relationship with their parents or having no parents at all. Studies show that children will most likely act out more if they don’t have a dad around. “1 in 3 kids in america will grow up without a father” says Daily Mail. Around 15 million children in America live without a father in their life. Fathers are very important in a child’s life because fathers affect the child’s self esteem, how they do in school, they can even affect the child’s future relationships. Some of the main ones are video games, movies, parent relationships, the music you listen to, who you hang out with, what you do, negative peer pressure, a need for respect or attention, feelings of low self worth, rejection, victim of violence, easy access to weapons, or even a history of aggression. The ones people mostly look at is video games, what you watch/listen, and you and your parents relationships. It is hard to pinpoint the exact cause of why that teen when violent, but there are some “warning signs” to look for before anything major happens. You can start seeing warning sides when your child is still very young. Like when they have their first young violent act or if they have been a victim of bullying, or if they have a cruelty with animals it can lead to violence. If you don’t give your child enough discipline it can lead to violence or if they don’t really care for others. Teen violence can come from other things like serious drug or alcohol use, being or just having a desire to be in a gang, trouble controlling anger, etc. It is just the simplest stuff to tell if your child is going or is violent. The symptoms aren’t something hard to notice. If you do notice them you need to call someone because it can lead to very dangerous things.
