Teen Suicide Video Analysis

Decent Essays
This video was to make educators aware of the problems teen may be having. For me it was amazing to learn more teens and young adults, die of suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, stroke, pneumonia and influenza and chronicle lung disease combined. The vidieo stated that in 1999, a nationwide survey of high school students found then in the preceding 12 months, one in five had seriously considered suicide and one in 13 had attempted suicide. What caused or contributed to teen suicide is often reviled and little is done to prevent it. Suicide is something that no one knows who are really going to commit the act and most of the times the teen just need or want someone to talk to about different problems they might be facing.
