Driving is an activity that requires a lot of practice. It is a new experience for teenagers; they inspire to drive for they feel free. Unfortunately, teens cause about 11% of all accidents in the U.S., and they only represent 2% of the population. Those are bad news.
According to a study made by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, "Crashes are the leading cause of death among American teens" (3). Youngsters are not well experienced with driving, they sometimes forget to do things like putting a seatbelt on, or they drive too fast. On my opinion, having friends in the car is the biggest distraction for teens. In paragraph 7, it says that the more teenagers there are in a car, the higher the risk of getting in a car accident.
