Passion, bravery, and Courage. Those are just a few character traits teen activists need to have. Passion for their cause. Bravery for their challenges. Also, courage for putting themselves out there. They aren’t adults, or presidents, just teenagers, but that doesn’t stop them from helping the world, right? What is teen activism you may ask? It’s where a teenager ages 13-19 are passionate about a problem and help.Teen activism is many things. You can be like Malala that risked her life, or Faye Carey growing passion for her cause, or even Craig Kielburger doing everything possible. Those are just a few major teen activists that help make our world better. But one thing teen activists all have in common is their passionate about their cause.

But she changed the world. She made it a fair place where girls can have an education, by standing up against the Taliban. As you might know, she is very religious and determined. She fights for girls education. She has courage, bravery, and will not give up. For Instance, even when she was shot by the Taliban and it took her 9-18 months to recover, she didn’t give up she knew things would get better. She is very passionate about her cause. Evidence to support this is when she gave her speech according to “Malala Nobel Peace Prize Speech.pdf, “Those who have fought for their rights. Their right to live in peace. Their right to live with dignity. Their right for equal opportunity. Their right to be educated.” Those are just a few powerful words that changed the world for the better. Craig Kielburger is against child labor. He didn’t really know about the problem until he saw a 12 year old boy (Iqbal) was murdered from child labor and he knew that something needed to be done from the start. Evidence is according to “About WE Charity,” it states, “Craig was 12. Iqbal was 12. In that moment, he was struck by a single and profound connection- he could have been Iqbal- and he needed to do something.” He tried to get kids to help but it was tough because not many kids realize how bad it is but Craig did and he managed to get a couple classmates to help. Even though he had trouble and was “just a kid” he helped because he was passionate. After a while, they made a charity called, Free the Children WE Villages. They knew that even once the children were freed the families had trouble supporting them all. So they made it better according to “About WE Charity” they describe it as, “An innovative, holistic approach to development that provides access to give key pillars- education, clean water and sanitation, health care, food security, and alternative income- and empowers a community to lift itself out of poverty.” As you can see, they had a plan and with his hard work they were able to help.
