Change in the world Have you thought if social problems, such slavery has decreased? Well, it hasn’t and their are kids out there who are trying to solve these problems. Teen Activists are working to change our world from social problems like poverty, slavery, child labour and women's rights.Teen Activists have many common qualities. Some of these qualities are that they give a lot of personal time to fight for their cause, the also have compassion for everyone and they have a fund and/or organization for their cause. “We worked with Metech International to hold an e-waste recycling drive that collected over 21,000 pounds of electronics,” says Lin according to www.takepart.com. Teen Activists such as, Alex Lin are working very hard to stop these social problems and make our world a better place as you have read.
First of all, teen activists sacrifice a lot time in order to make peace and prosperity in the world where everyone lives. According to www.merriam-webster.com the definition of compassion is a feeling of wanting to help someone who is sick, hungry, in trouble, etc. Neha Gupta an activist who wants to help orphans and other kids in their struggle for life. She is really compassionate because her non-profit company, Empower Orphans, this company has world-wide locations to try to help as many orphans and kids as they can. Neha Gupta and Empower Orphans raised $1,000,000 which they used to assist 25,000 underserved children, according to nshss.org. Neha Gupta had bought a sewing machine for a girl and that sewing machine was able to change her life, according to
